WAYS WIKIS COULD
IMPROVE CLASSROOM INSTRUCTIONS
A
lot of students have access to computers/ internet this enables the teacher to
post useful information and links for researcher. By utilizing the wiki, the teacher would be
able to guide the students to the pertinent information about the topic without
them being side tracked by other sites.
REFLECTION
A
wiki page was created for portfolio piece #7 this was accomplished by creating
a webpage in google. The wiki will be used
to display information related to building technology, this would enable the
students to visit the site and get added information about a topic by either
clicking links or viewing other information posted by teacher.
It
was my first time creating a web page so it was basically like a trial and
error phase, but once I gained an understanding( thanks to my colleagues) on
how to accomplish the tasks it was smooth sailing from there. To improve the site I would add links to
puzzles and fun facts to keep the students interested in visiting the site
again.
